"The Masterpiece"
She's my inspiration...to go on and create my art...
to express my pain...my tears...my suffering...
I found a masterpiece within her...that no other could see...
a work of art...that paradise manifested...
she taught me the inward language...that is love...
the tongue of souls...
I found a masterpiece within her...
she called me a poet...
yet I wrote nothing compared to the sensually
tender words that left her lips to pierce my heart...
I found a masterpiece within her...
deep inside this black woman we can find art...beauty...and love defined...
outside her beautiful earth toned shell keeps the weak from looking further...
inside she shimmers even in the pitch of darkness...
yes a masterpiece...
