you walked alone long enough

i found you running
i heard your foot steps
i tried to follow
rain tumbled to ground
i stumbled
i cried
you could not hear a sound
please turn around
you don't have to run

you walked alone long enough
i followed the puddles of tears
fears, you would never stop
your long legs swam through like a swan
beauty slow down
i tried to follow

let me walk with you

you walked alone long enough
yes it is cold
but no need to rush
i'm not afraid of the rain
but, i do shiver... and i know you shiver 2
if you must run, hold on... let me run with you
i maybe too slow but my tears flow 2
