LOST: forgetting to love...

have you ever felt a pain so strong that you wished for tears like a desert wishing for rain, for relief... but those tears never came and relief you hoped for is now a dying dream...

have you ever been so alone that you forget the sound of your own voice... you part your lips but no sound is heard, all you can do is sigh... no one would hear anyway...

have you ever been so sad that when you finally found joy, you can't hold back those tears you wished for to rain on your aches from pain...

have you ever found reasons to laugh but your laughter caused these tears to overcast your happiness... you tried in vain to wipe away your exposed pain... you lied in wanting to laugh, only to end in deep cries of sorrow, you tried to hide.

ever hurt so much for so long that you forget what it's like to live without pain... have you ever seen the end to your troubles, but found yourself praying that the pain never comes to an end...

have you ever feared you bound to find that happiness... have you ever feared never to find enough of it to overcome the years of pain... feared to search any longer, feared you would fall of the edge cause the world is not round and you're bound to fail.

have you ever ran from love... waking up at night, cold sweats from a falling dream. scared that you might love so deep it would crush the heart you wish to care for... a fear for heights keeps you from falling over the edge in love. can't fly like the doves...

have you ever sat in a cold dark room wondering these things... letting these thoughts consume your very soul... forgetting the sun rises each day... forgetting to hope.. forgetting to live... forgetting to love, but never forgetting her...
