bring back the winter
when i was alone

bring back the winter
when my eyes chilled my tears into ice slivers

bring back the winter
when i was strong enough to still shiver

bring back the winter
a clear winter
when warm air from my lungs would cool
dense vapors of white flowed to heaven
i imagined it was my soul long sealed
in this body... yet long dead to this life
vapors escaped my lips rising high
just another breath till death my soul will rise free

bring back the winter
when i could do no wrong
when my heart was stone cold
would not fall to the ides of February in search of warmth
foreseen the next day
when everyone found love
amorous text once lost and now found
again love is within ones vocabulary
remember again the fourteenth
and the weeks to follow
one could smell summer
sex on a bed of tulips
tasted morning dew from the early virgin grass
of summer's wetness!
summer's sweaty heated abrasion of flesh
the vice tight grip on a round ass
eyes shut bite on the the lower lip feels the deepness
slip into slippery, my... goodness!
a summer's scream!

bring back the winter
may never wonder will it last
found the faith to march on a promise
yet, when put to the test
to find less and less to invest
what once was deep now hollow
to wonder what became of forever?
april fools see two broken dreamers
a wish to wash away summer's foul stench!
odorous hatred overwhelms the senses
open windows to air out memories
fresh air feel the tides of spring again

bring back the winter
cold winds, in october
as the second leaf to fall from a tree
balance it's weight against the wind
hoping to never hit ground, i welcome november

bring back the winter
alone this december
shed tears on the 20TH
to have a warm body on the 25TH
upon the climax of the year make another resolution to bring back the winter
when you were alone
bring back the winter
