dearly departed
tonight i speak to you
as i pray
hoping to be heard
only my faith can tell
you don't talk anymore
i stay silent as night
hoping to hear you...
my heart please beat again
my heart has found a home in denial
each night i speak to you
this little prayer
as i lay me down to sleep
the shadows of you a sweet caress
i close my eyes to see you
when i wake
my eyes, forsakes my dream
my tears reminds me of your hurt
my mistakes
my mind rewinds
finds my guilt
this morning
i morn my dearly departed...
cries... why did you have to go away
you would not stay
did not stay...
i long for the setting sun
i've done something wrong...
we could have found a way
i know
i can't turn back
what we were has gone away
it would not last
tonight i hold to if only...
this lonely shadow remains
we should be together...
the most of me has gone away
the ghost of you stays through all my days
i may seem alright, but i'm all messed up
though, you don't talk anymore
tonight i pray, all i am for one last cry
still hope you come around...
all my strength to find faith in you and me.
all i am, to believe in the resurrection of us.
