a prose for eden...
Last night I dreamed of your footsteps
Walking slowly towards my resting soul
you gave me a gentle kiss while I slept
It was soft and for a moment I felt God lifting me from this world
You gave me awesome highs... soaring over all.
Then I felt you released and backed away
It was sudden... I was falling and nothing but my heart could break the fall
It was so sudden... I realized you were already miles away
I fell back into the pain with nothing I gained and losing my faith
Last night I dreamed of your footsteps, walking slowly away.
I knew you had to go someday... moving on...
Take me with you... I'm yours.
I can remember every word you once said.
Can you remember all the things that made you say you loved me?
I try to forget all the words you said as you turned from me.
Can you remember all the things that made you turn away?
Please hold on to what made you return time and time again...
Love, I will always be waiting time and time again.
Take me back again... I'm yours....
I'm finding you daily... everyday a new discovered country.
I explore your nature... Your soul is vast and keeps me in dreams.
Searching... to be found again.
We knew I lived on dreams and you walked on faith
In you I found a place where Faith and Dreams could meet... Eden.
I believe in the seed of our Love... I believe in the Roots of our Struggle
I believe in the pain of drought without the joys of raindrops
I believe in what I feel tonight, feeling the uncertainty of your journey to find peace
I believe that I want for your soul to find that peace... that place... that love.
This Eden, a garden of innocence, bliss, and ultimate happiness... YOU!
Feeling the uncertainty of your love for me in return
as you keep it bottled while you walk
How far will you walk before you remember and think of me?
As I sit here and think of you and your needs, I wonder... Still Loving
Still wanting you to take me with you, wherever you go.
Just as you take God with you, I would have liked to be there with you.
In saying that I feel as the Snake in Eden.
Forgive me paradise corrupts with sweetness. I feel lost.
Still needing you and wanting to give of myself.
Holding on to that felling, knowing it is good, even sometimes sad
Oh Lord knows, I knew you had to go someday... moving on...
Take me, I'm yours...
Letting go because it is destined feels so cruel.
Yet, You can choose. I choose to love and love is Free...
You are free to walk alone as you need...
While you walk West, I will face East.
I can bear it... your footsteps leaving no trace behind
No footprints, like you were never part of me.

I knew you needed to be free and had to go someday.
I still hold strong to the place I once knew...
Where Dreams and Faith met. Eden.
please hold on to Love as you walk.
I can beg if it would change our fate... please take me... I'm yours.
I no longer feel safe without you! I don't want to walk alone.
I know you are very tired...
I will massage, caress and kiss your feet every night if you please just stop running...
I know you remember how good that feels, please don't live on memory alone.
Rest with me, you can find peace in my arms, take my hand, take me with you.
Ease your worries for my love is a gift and never a loan.
I know you can handle it on your own, but please take my heart as your own.

I believe this Earth is round... and your steps are on scared ground

what I feel right now is a thirst and a dryness in my voice.
