poetry: April's Green...
April's Green
April's Green... is the end of the endless winters one must suffer to know the truth about love
April's Green... is a spring to life, an open bloom of flowers, daisies and sweet peas... a beauty so fragile yet a diamond cannot cut... a seduction that calls this man to march on
April's Green... is not the tender warmth that penetrates the bitter cold, but a hold on a heart so strong that old forgotten dreams hold truer even in the freezing depths of loneliness
April's Green... is the first and last of the rain where thirst was only seen and felt but never told... a bluer water that becomes so precious, it is given free... it is priceless for the ill in need of healing again
April's Green... is the birth of long awaited passions into summer's heat, where selfish desires die and the selfless lives again.
April's Green... much longer than thirty days, as strong as an old tree that shelters all life, it is a touch of summer, a touch of winter, and autumn's falling in love with spring
to love April's Green... is to finally see and understand clearly why such things as pain, hunger, suffering must exist - for April's Green is the beginning of all good things long thought lost
April's Green... is a mixture of my mellow yellow life's cowardice... and the flow of my saddest indigo blues, creating in me something new that helps me to continue to grow... with fewer pain
April's Green... is a mother's truer nature... a wife's hue filled with the purest love - her days full of hope and growth... her body lush as one would expect a sweet paradise to be... safe and full of warmth
April's Green... is now and forever defined as "to be, truly loved..."
truly yours,
